SPACE RADIO

An Americana big band built on roots, improvisation, and live sonic exploration.

THE STORY

Formed as the second iteration of David Koster Band, Space Radio was an Americana big band that achieved big things in a short time. Touring from Rockwood Music Hall in NYC, FirstLive in Brooklyn, to the Ohio State Theater in Springfield, to The Holding Company in San Diego, we captivated audiences with our onslaught of sonic expression. Eventually, we opened up for Umphrey’s McGee at the Stone Pony and Fat Mezz at the Ardmore Music Hall. Two live albums of performances at each venue were released.
