Cowboy Bohemian
An improvisational alternative blues trio blending songwriting, spontaneity, and raw musicianship.
THE STORY
Originally formed as a rock n roll guitar/drum duo with Dave Riches, the addition of Shawn Touhill turned Cowboy Bohemian into an improvisational alternative blues power trio. All 3 members being foremost guitar players, the rest of the band would adapt to bass and drums. Whoever wrote the song sang and played it on guitar, and the rest would follow. We played venues around Philly, most notably the Trocadero, before it closed. And opened up for local legends Medusa’s Disco at Froggy Daze Festival in 2019.
